What You Will Be Doing:

As part of our electronics engineering team, you will work with a highly talented and motivated team to develop sophisticated and challenging lighting control systems, exposing you to top-of-the-line lighting fixture control and management systems in the market. You will bring on board the knowledge of the following.

  • Develop new professional lighting products, combining mechanical, electrical and optical systems.
  • Develop system-level architecture, specifications, and schematics.
  • Schematic design, PCB layout design, and generation and maintenance of corporate component libraries.
  • Generate BOM’s and associated manufacturing drawings and documentation for PCBA’s.
  • Assemble, test, and debug prototypes to validate designs for performance, reliability, and conformity to applicable standards (TUV, IPC, FCC, IC, CE, etc.).
  • Research, source and follow up with suppliers/vendors for prototypes and production.
  • Perform new product pre-qualification testing and assist in EMC/EMI and safety testing compliance according to performance and quality specifications.
  • Project follow-up and continuous improvement initiatives for product design modifications and component substitutions.
  • Research and evaluation of new technologies.
  • Design, implement and test new hardware features using a variety of technologies such as: DMX, ArtNet, RDM, sACN, with Altium being the most common for the schematics capture and layout designing, whereas C, Python, Java, Keil studio, Ubuntu and Linux for firmware/software development.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant engineering design roles.
  • Minimum of 4 years programming experience in one or more of C, C++, Linux, Ubuntu, Java, Python.

This position offers competitive compensation starting at $65,000.00/annually (negotiable) based on experience, opportunities for professional growth, and a collaborative work environment.
